Arch Enemy are set to release a brand new album this Summer titled Deceivers! The album drops on July 29th through Century Media Records! In 2017, Arch Enemy released Will To Power. It is the second album with vocalist Alissa White-Gluz, following up to her debut as the new Arch Enemy vocalist for their 2014 record, War Eternal. Alissa took over on vocal duty for Angela Gossow, who had been the vocalist since their 2001 album Wages of Sin. After releasing 7 full length albums, 3 EPs, and one live album, Angela decided to leave the band in 2012 after their 2011 release, Khaos Legions, to focus on other aspects of the Music industry, like managing Arch Enemy and Powerwolf, among many other Artists with Alpha Management United!
Fan fact: Both Alissa and Angela are vegans! Alissa is partners with Doyle from the Misfits, who is also vegan, and created one of the most amazing tasting protein powders on the market, called Vegan Monster Protein. Today, Arch Enemy’s lineup is comprised of Alissa on vocals, guitarist Michael Amott, drummer Daniel Erlandsson, bassist Sharlee D’Angelo, and guitarist Jeff Loomis.
Fan fact: Jeff was the longtime guitarist of Nevermore [Rest in Peace, Warrell Dane!], and joined Arch Enemy in 2014 after Christopher Amott, Michael’s brother, had departed from the band to focus on solo work. Christopher is now the guitarist for the Swedish Melodic Death Metal group, Dark Tranquillity.
Arch Enemy are also kicking off a North American co-headline tour with Behemoth that spans across 19 cities on April 16th in Tempe, AZ and ends May 15th in Los Angeles, CA with special guests Napalm Death and Unto Others.
