Chaos Rising, the all-female Heavy Metal project uniting over forty women throughout the entire World, have released a brand-new video for their song, “I Could Be That Girl“. The track features drummer Nicole Trenchero, from Argentina, bassist & vocalist Stephanie Nolf, from France, and keyboardist, Catherine Fearns, from Switzerland.
I Could Be That Girl is a song taking a stand and raising awareness for Women’s Rights and Equality throughout the world. Catherine commented about the track, “Chaos Rising includes female-identifying musicians from all over the world and we recognise that not all of us have the same rights and opportunities as others. With this song we wanted to give a voice to those women who currently are not able to use theirs. This year many things have happened to damage women’s rights, and with this Industrial Metal track we felt it was time to make some factual statements about the inequalities and injustices that women face globally.”
The song was produced, mixed, and mastered by Stephanie Nolf.
Chaos Rising releases a new song on average of every 1-2 months of a different style, and different lineup of other female Musicians spanning throughout eighteen countries. Earlier in the Fall, Chaos Rising, released a double compilation album titled “The Singles” on October 14th of 2022, comprised of all of the singles released at that time.
Rainbow Llamacorn and The Scream Queen caught up with Stephanie Nolf and Catherine Fearns to chat about the project before the release of their album, where they dropped news about their Black Metal style track they were working on, which is in the video above titled -Altered Reality-. The lineup of -Altered Reality- is guitarist & lyricist Victoria Villarreal from the United States, Stephanie Nolf of France, and drummer Carolina Perez, also from the United States.
