East Atlanta based Rapper Grip announced via his social media pages over the last week that he released a new 1 minute 49 second song titled ‘Spatula‘ and also announced an upcoming US tour for February-March 2022!
Grip recently released his third full-length album, I Died For This!? on August 27, 2021 via Shady Records, the record label founded in 1999 by Eminem and his manager, Paul Rosenberg. Grip signed to Shady Records in the summer of 2021.
Grip’s first single off of IDFT?! is titled Gutter, featuring Wara, another East Atlanta based Rapper. On the entire 17 track album, 9 are collaboration tracks, including one with Uncle Alfred himself, Eminem, on the song, Walkthrough!. Dead Cassettes, Royce Da 5’9″, Tate228, Big Rube, AHYES, Kay Nellz & Kenny Mason are some of the other Artists featured on I Died For This!?.
IDFT!? is the follow up to Grip’s October 11, 2019 release titled Snubnose and his debut album, Porch, which was released on December 6, 2017.
Grip is touring these handful of dates along with independent rapper & singer Wiley From Atlanta, who released his newest album, Kingfisher in November of this year. Wiley is also featured on Grip’sIDFT!? album in the song ‘And The Euogly Read!?‘.
Also going on tour with Grip and Wiley, is Marco Plus, who is another Atlanta based Rapper. Marco Plus released his newest album, titled ‘THA SOUF GOT SUM 2 SAY’ in October, which follows up his April 19th release ‘Sparco‘.
