HORROR POP CULTURE CONVENTION ‘DAYS OF THE DEAD’ ATLANTA RETURNING FEBRUARY 25TH-27TH. APPEARANCES AND PANELS WITH SCOUT TAYLOR COMPTON, PHILIP ANSELMO, COREY TAYLOR, BILL MOSELY, AND MORE!

Days of The Dead is a Horror Pop Culture convention that is in it’s 10th year, taking place February 25th-27th at the Sheraton in Atlanta! The yearly events feature a film festival, many different guest panels and fan photo ops with favorite celebrities, Artists, and vendors with Horror themed handmade, one of a kind items, rare and original films, and much more! The event also takes place in Chicago, Indianapolis, and Los Angeles throughout the year with different guests lined up.

According to the Days Of The Dead official website, they have scheduled appearances and panels with Scout Taylor Compton, Danielle Harris, and Bill Mosley, all who’ve acted in Rob Zombie directed films Halloween, Halloween II, and The Devils Rejects.

Billy Zane, who’s played in many of our most favorite and beloved Pop Culture films throughout his 37 year career such as Titanic as the character, Cal Hockley, and in Back to the Future I & II as Match O’Malley is scheduled. Other appearances include Comedian and Actor Bill Murray from the hidden camera TV show, Impractical Jokers and Bruce Dern, who appeared on two episodes of the classic TV show, The Alfred Hitchcock Hour in 1964, and also known for playing roles in Django Unchained and Once Upon a Time in HollywoodLou Gossette Jr, who’s appeared on many popular TV series such as, Hawaii 5-0, Boardwalk Empire, and Stargate SG-1 is also on the lineup. 

Musicians appearing include frontman Corey Taylor, who released a new single, The Chapeltown Rag, off Slipknot’s upcoming album, which you can check out above, is returning for his second year in a row, and iconic Heavy Metal frontman Philip Anselmo, both of whom are huge fans of the Horror film genre.

Returning Days of the Dead alum, Kane Hodder from the later Friday The 13th films and spinoffs will also be there, along with Mark Holton from the movies Leprechaun and Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure, Tom Arnold, known for playing the role of Arnie Thomas on Roseanne, and Alexandra Essoe who played Wendy Thomas on the 2019 horror film Doctor Sleep.

Other guests who are scheduled, Derek Mears, who appeared on various seasons of the show Sleepy Hollow between 2013 and 2017, Henry Thomas who acted on 1982’s E.T., and Roger L. Jackson from the original Scream as the voice of Ghostface and voiceover characters on Powerpuff Girls. Richard Band who played on Puppet Master franchise, Hannah Fierman from 2012’s V/H/S, Deborah Foreman who played Julia on the 1983 movie, Valley Girl are also set to appear.

Days of the Dead is a family-friendly event, all kids 10 and under are given free entry! Free entry is also provided for the Military.
