Jacksonville, Florida grown Nu Metal God Fathers Limp Bizkit, who are comprised of bassist Sam Rivers, drummer John Otto, vocalist Fred Durst, guitarist Wes Borland, and DJ Lethal, released a brand new album titled Still Sucks, on Halloween, October 31, 2021.
Still Sucks is the sixth full length studio album from the group, following up their 2011 release, Gold Cobra.
Limp Bizkit released their debut album on July 1st, 1997 titled Three Dollar Bill Y’all, featuring the singles Counterfeit, Sour, and their cover of the 1987 George Michael song, Faith. Two years later, on June 22, 1999, they released their second album, Significant Other, featuring the singles Break Stuff, Nookie, and collaboration track N 2 Gether Now ft Method Man. The album also features songs with late Stone Temple Pilots vocalist, Scott Weiland and KoRn frontman, Jonathan Davis on Nobody Like You, and Staind’s Aaron Lewis on No Sex.
The following year, on October 17, 2000, Limp Bizkit released their third album, Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water, dropping the singles Take A Look Around, Rollin’, My Way, My Generation, and Boiler, and collaborations with Xzibit on Getcha Groove On, Scott Weiland on Hold On, and DMX, Method Man, and, Redman for the Rollin‘ [Urban Assault Vehicle] version.
On September 23, 2003, Limp Bizkit’s fourth album, Results May Vary was released. It is their first album without Wes Borland on guitar, instead featuring guitarist Mike Smith of Santa Barbara, California band, Snot on the majority of the album and Brian Head Welch of KoRn on the song Build a Bridge. Snoop Dogg also makes an appearance on Red-Light Green-Light, which is the 8th track on the album. The album’s track-listing also includes their rendition of The Who’s Behind Blue Eyes.
In 2005, Borland rejoined the band and they went on to release their 7-song EP titled The Unquestionable Truth. It features New York Hardcore & Rock drummer Sammy Siegler filling in for John Otto for 6 songs, with Otto only appearing on the 5th track, The Channel.
Nearly eight years later, they released their highly anticipated fifth release, Gold Cobra with the singles Shotgun followed by the title track, Gold Cobra.
Fast forward to 2021, after a decade of immense fan anticipation for something new by the band, Limp Bizkit debuted a new single called Dad Vibes live while in Chicago, Illinois for the Music festival, Lollapalooza, after closing their 50 minute performance with Take A Look Around, exiting the stage throwing t-shirts into the crowd with the new song blaring out the amps over the sea of excited fans. Dad Vibes was officially released as a single on September 30th, 2021. A few weeks later, Limp Bizkit went on their social media confirming they would indeed be releasing a new album on Halloween titled Still Sucks.
