The Dover Brothers are kicking off their 2023 USA Spring Tour on April 1st 0f 2023 starting in Spring, Texas at The 19th Hole, hitting parts of the South and Mid-West, ending the tour in Indianapolis, IN at Melody Inn on April 23rd.
The Dover Brothers are made up of bassist Joiner Dover, vocalist & guitarist Calvin Dover, drummer Joey ‘Blue’ Gonzalez, and guitarist Johnny Fitzgerald. Joiner and Calvin are members of En Minor, while Blue is a touring drummer of En Minor and also the drummer of Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals.
Floyd’s Fables, their debut album, was released in September of 2021. The album is comprised of nine genre bending tracks, somewhere in between Rock ‘n Roll, Americana, and Jazz with a little bit of a Cajun twist. They are following up with a new full-length album this year titled, Scrap, which was initially set to be released as an EP. Calvin commented, “There was just an abundance of material that would’ve been a shame to not make use of. “
The band is performing a few new songs from the album for this tour. Blue added, “I’m absolutely stoked to share this amazing new material with some killer musicians! Its groovy, funky, jammin’ Rock ‘n Roll! It’s been a blast! These dudes are talented and it’s a lot of fun to jam.”
