ELEINE released ‘Never Forget’, a brand-new single off of their upcoming album set to release on July 14th through Atomic Fire Records, titled ‘We Shall Remain’! The new song immediately begins with some Groove oriented guitar riffs and a slow, steady beat of the kick drums before the song comes in full force as Jesper’s hitting every symbol, snare, and bass drum imaginable, creating a melodic, yet neck breaking beat. Rikard’s signature guitar riffs that encapsulate a sound of violent ocean waves. Madeleine’s powerful, angelic vocals kick in, as symphonic undertones rise behind the explosive drums, guitar riffs, and Filip’s bass lines.
In the second verse, we hear Rikard sing with clean vocals for a moment before he unleashes the growls. Madeleine comes in on vocals again throughout the rest of the song. We also hear a nice melodic guitar solo, that starts out very simplistic and rhythmic as it builds to a faster pace, enlightening solo that ending with a squeal. The drums are heavily emphasized before Madeleine begins singing again, intensifying the lyrics, “Never Forget We’re The Same”.
The lyrics of the song are about rising above and moving forward from encountering those people in your Life that have made it a living Hell, that left those mental scars on you. In the official press release from our Earsplit Compound family, Eleine commented on the lyrical meaning, “The most important part of experiencing something inevitable like this is to remember your own worth. It’s not about you, but you can evolve and learn from the situation itself. Rise up. Accept what has been. Move forward and cut the strings attached to anyone who really doesn’t give you anything else but a headache. In the end, we’re all facing the same fate. Make sure your Life along the way has as less toxic people as possible and make sure you are in charge of your own Life.”
