Piano Whitman, who is also in the band My Kid Brother, recently released a brand-new video for her Indie solo project, ViRG, with the song “Secret”. Check out the video above! The project began in 2017 with only a keyboard and an 808 drum machine while Piano was attending community college.
This year, ViRG released a new album titled, Weeks. The album is full of charming, melodic sounding songs that pair perfectly together with coffee and tea. Weeks is following up to a collection of songs called, “I Was Dressed In Yellow” that was unveiled in 2018. Piano worked with very special people in her Life to make the vision of Weeks come true. Most of the album was written in her car and also recorded in her basement.
“I must say I hold these songs very close to my heart and I’m really proud of this record! I’m most excited about all the videos I’m making for “Weeks”. So far, I’ve finished a quarter of the videos for the album, and I feel really good about it! Video has always been another way for me to express myself.”
Piano is also planning to do a few shows this Summer with ViRG. She is even working on putting a synth focused band together and doing tracks with Pleasure Business!
