The Dark Side of the Moon released a new single titled Legends Never Die that is off their upcoming debut album, Metamorphosis, through Napalm Records set to drop on May 12th of 2023. The song is a cover of the exclusive track that was for the 2017 League of Legends World Championship, originally done by Against The Current.
The band is a supergroup made up of vocalist Melissa Bonny from Ad Infinitum, drummer Morten Lowe Sorensen of Amaranthe, and harpist Jenny Diehl & guitarist Hans Platz of Feuerschwanz.
Metamorphosis contains eleven tracks, both with cover songs and original material. Dark Side of the Moon released their original song, Gates of Time as a single in March. You can check out the video here! Some of the covers on the album include a Harry Potter song from the Prisoner of Azkaban film soundtrack, Double Trouble Lumos!, originally done by the Frog Choir, the Vikings TV series theme song, If I Had a Heart by Fever Ray, and a song from Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring soundtrack, May It Be that also features Charlotte Wessels, and was originally done by Enya.
