THE HAUNT TALK ABOUT THE MEANING BEHIND THEIR NEW SINGLE ‘I’M NOT YOURS’, HEADLINING TOUR DATES KICKING OFF MAY 22ND, AND MORE! “There is an album…And it’s coming!”

The Haunt are a four piece edgy Alternative-Indie-Rock quartet with some Pop and Punk vibes from Boca Raton, Florida. The band is made up of bassist Natalie Smallish, drummer Nick Lewert who joined the band in 2018, vocalist Anastasia Grace, and guitarist/vocalist Max Haunt. Their Musical influences range from Duffy to Amy Winehouse to The White Stripes to Freddie Mercury to Nine Inch Nails to No Doubt. They released their most recent EP, Social Intercourse in April 2021 which features their singles Wish You Stayed and the passionate song with a ballad vibe, Twisted Dream

Max and Anastasia are siblings who’ve grown up sharing the stage for most of their Lives, before changing their band name to The Haunt, they were known as AnastasiaMax. Anastasia is the younger sibling of Max, she is 19 years old with a uniquely soulful, yet playful voice with attitude! She wrote the song All Went Black when she was 12 years old while going through a rough time with bullying in school.

Fan Facts: The Haunt are huge fans of Palaye Royale, whom they’ve toured with several times! Natalie is a fan of No Doubt, Garbage, and 90s female bands… Nick is a fan of Sleeping With Sirens, Yungblud, and Movements! Max‘s first concert ever was Nine Inch NailsAnastasia is a fan of Nina Simone and Billie Holiday.

The Haunt recently played a show in Fargo, North Dakota at The Sanctuary Events Center by Jade Presents where we caught up with them after their sound check for a few minutes before they opened up for Mongolian Hunnu Rock band, The Hu

In our interview, The Haunt chat about their new song titled I’m Not Yours, which was written by Anastasia, about breaking free of a relationship. The song will be on their upcoming album, which is in the works and there is no release date, as of yet!

Max Haunt elaborated on the song, “It’s kind of a song about breaking free from something that’s holding you back, whether it’s a relationship or– I mean, it’s really about a relationship! [laughs]”
